FEEDFOLD

Support

Help for FeedFold on Mac and Safari.

Getting started

  1. Open FeedFold once.
  2. In Safari, open Settings → Extensions, enable FeedFold, and allow access to YouTube.
  3. Sign in to YouTube in Safari.
  4. Open Group Manager from the extension popup or the gear button on the YouTube Subscriptions page.
  5. Create a group, import your subscription list, and assign channels from each channel’s Groups menu.

Trial and purchases

The optional trial lasts 30 days from the verified App Store transaction. It does not automatically charge you. When it ends, FeedFold’s group management and feed filtering are locked until you make the one-time lifetime purchase. FeedFold displays the price for your App Store region before purchase. Use Restore Purchases in the FeedFold Mac app to restore an eligible purchase.

Local data

Group names, channel assignments, title keywords, imported subscription details, and cached video details are stored in Safari on this Mac. FeedFold has no account or cloud sync. In Group Manager, choose Clear all local data to remove them. FeedFold remembers that you cleared the list so it will not import subscriptions again automatically. This does not change your YouTube subscriptions or Apple purchases. After clearing, choose Import subscriptions if you want FeedFold to read your subscription list again.

If FeedFold says an import is still running, close the YouTube subscriptions-import tab and try clearing again.
